Dr. Jafari got a PhD from North Carolina State University in Civil and Transportation Engineering under the direction of Dr. Joseph Hummer. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of North Carolina and a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certificate holder. His background includes more than seven years of experience in Traffic and Transportation Engineering on numerous projects and research including safety analysis, planning, capacity analysis, traffic impact analysis, parking studies, pedestrian access improvements, signal design, roadway improvements, and ITS for both public and private clients.
